Just been talking to my dad about insurance and he told me that last year he reached the limit of no claims which is 40 years no claims:eek:

Now he has to start paying more for his insurance each year instead of it going down and him getting 1 extra year no claims! That is so Ghey,..,.,

Basicly my dad has never crashed and claimed on insurance and been a safe road user all the years he has been driving for them to reward him buy making him pay more.!

Leave some comments on this because i want to hear if any of you lot have been in this situation or if you know anybody in this situation... cheers

Sorry but he's talking out his backside lol lol lol

Most insurance companies consider 5 years to be the "maximum", anything over that is usually ignored. After that, its age which takes precedence - if I was 23 with 5 years NCB and driving experience, my insurance would be more expensive than if I was 43 with 5 years NCB and driving experience. However, after a certain age insurance will begin to creep up as older drivers are a greater risk (in the same way that younger drivers are a greater risk).

Also pays for him to shop round, my dad would be looking at gradual insurance rises each year but barters good discounts so still manages to get a decent price each year on his S3. Some companies specialise in older drivers.

so they should pay more,

they think 'boy racers' are bad, when was the last boy racer seen going down the wrong way of the motorway, or crashing into a shop as they did not see it lol

Aye, as jack said, 5-7 years is the max ncb.
You can't get anymore than that.

Sounds like he just doesn't want to insure the car with you on... Lol
