what will beat this?

what is the best engine to put in a nova (at the min 1.2spin k reg) something that will kick the s*** out of a corsa 1.6 sport superchipped and pipercross induction kit. also what would need to be changed/made stronger? i know of:
brakes
exhaust
gearbox
suspension
weld alluminium bars to chassis to re-enfoce it ye?
anything else?

Stich weld (and preferably plate) the engine bay area. Uprated brakes&suspension. Best tyres you can afford, Eagle F1's are a good bet. Strip out any weight you don't need :thumb:.

his 1.6 will be 125bhp MAX. so youve only got to pile in about 75hp of nitrous. beat him a few times and still show him the 1.2 engine. then sell the kit for nearly the same money you paid. job done.

also most of the things you've listed there you wont even need, why would you need lowered suspension, different gearbox, aluminium bars welded to the chassis? lol why would you need any of them to make you go faster? the only thing you really need is bigger brakes if your going for a big setup
