Of to pick up my new tow toy for dragging the stick from place to place tonight.
It's a 3ltr v6 omega Elite in diamond black with only 89k on the clock so just runin.
Picks will be up later once i picked it up.
Ive never had a rwd car before so this will be a giggle as it's started to rain a little bit here.
Game on drift style..

well i will tell you how this goes if i can get some new rear tyres and a tow bar fitted before the 21st so i will have to pull me finger out.

I currently have a 307SW but that is being sold because we have just bought an Avensis and im not allowed to put all my gear in that. So I will be looking for a cheap Volvo or something that I can use.

hope you dont drive the omega much, its gonna be a thirsty lady lol.

Cant recomend Eagle F1's enough fo fitting on the omega!
also make sure the cambelt is ok

Is it a manual 'Mega? and does it have a LSD?

being an Elite its 99% not going to be manual...
some did some didnt have LSD's... the earlier oens tended to have them, the later ones didnt as much.

Only the ex-police elites had manual trannies IIRC.

I told you not to buy an auto tow car you plonker lol

and the police ones werent "proper" elites either... ie they were only CD spec as opposed to full elite spec.

thanks for your coments.And lee at lease i will be able to keep up with you and Dar when we are on are next road trip to llandow this time....
And yes it is going to be a thirsty beast but i runin brand new cars for the place i work for and im use to them drinking loads for the first 10k.
At lease with this it can pull the skin/the pudding and the bowl of a rice pudding away which is alot better than the civic i have at the mo to runin.
Also it had the cambelt and pullys done last year with recipts and it runs like a dream.

It had a few bits of trim missing when i got it but nearly all sorted and i should be picking up a tow bar from Bert's bits this week.
All this for ?800 with 89k on the clock 3ltr v6 and a new cambelt last year sweet.
Now were is the next petrol station lol.

Get it on the ramp, drop the diff plate an get the welder out lol, then get some money aside for all the sets of rims your going to buckle lmfao. Seriously though i hope yuo never have any engine trouble with it as they are a massive ****hole to work on, nothing is easily accessible in the bay at all.

cheers . fitted the tow bar today and wiring it up tomorrow as of to work booo.
