ok, ive got a mint sri, gsi kit, usual extras, ie clectrics, gsi springs and brakes, delocked etc so it looks pretty good, but its runing on standard gsi alloys..... yep exactly!!! so im thinkin of putin sum 16 or 17 inch alloys, 16's go straight on luckerly!! but il have 2 have a bit of arch work 4 the 17's..but wot im wonderin is, will the 17s serously effect speed/acceleration, considering its only a 1.4 with exhuast system, decated, and filter?? and also if i put a decent set of koni suspension with the 17's would that improve the sitation? and how much would the arch work cost??? and also, i want to put some OZ alloys on, not sure which though, either 5 spoke f1's or multi spoke super T's wotcha reakon?? bearin in mind its black, im also thinkin of havin them sprayed white, how much would that cost?? relplie on this site, or email me at watch_it_it-bush@hotmail.com thanx :D

you WILL need some arch/axle mods with the 16's even if u use low profile tyres. And a good deal of arch roling with 17's. especially if its lowered!!

yea m8 but 17s are easy roll or grind the rear arches n get a 45mm offset put them on take it down the road take the wheels off again and look for rub marks on the inner arch then the specialist tool called a persuader {large hammer} n tap or beat it bak! obviously u cant help them hittin things like the gear box etc myne was lowered 60mm and in fact my 16s rub more than the 17s did!
