a broken back ?? just been to see my fiancee's dad whos had an accident at work, he fell from a air conditioning unit and has broke his back :eek: he cant move and has had to be strapped down so he cant move as his spine is putting pressure on his spinal cord. he broke it years ago in a pit accident so its already held together by about 18 pins/metal brackets. the doctors say that its probably these pins/metal that have saved his life as it protected him
was a harsh reality check for me and ill definatly be more careful when on ladders/scaffolds etc in the future
