Im going to try to explain best i can to how i did it.
(Needs to be done somewhere warm not cold!)
equipment needed:
washing up liquid (fairy i used) (some prefer baby shampoo as its softer?) and water in a squirty bottle
Window tint (the better the quality the better it looks)
credit card with a cloth over it or some sort of soft flat edge
cloth (for cleaning window)
thinners (for cleaning window)
scalpel or sharp stanley blade (for cutting window tint)
Hair dryer, Heat gun (for bubbles Take care when using causes the film to soften slightly
!!make sure the window is out when you attempt it!!
For side windows
If you get film which is long enough to do both windows remember to cut it first :D What i did was clean the window with the cloth and thinners then spray the window with the washinn up liquid or baby shampoo as you peel the film apart (!Get someone to help!) spray the bit that goes on the glass with the washing up liquid (Helps to stop it sticking to itself) then lay the tint over the glass with ur straight edge slide it from the middle of the window out to the edge when you have 1/2 side of the film stuck trim that edge continue all the way round if you get a bubble you may need a hair dryer or heat gun (be very careful with heat) which will help to stretch the film end result helps to get rid of bubbles. Make sure you get all the liquid out or it wont stick properly keep in a warm place overnight and by morning you should have a lovley tinted window !When refitting window use string! do not attempt with anything that could result in scratches in the window film. Will add info on back window at a later date
If anyone is still confused or needs a little more guidance PM me and i will get back as soon as possible
Good luck (you never learn till you try dont be afraid of messing up i have and learned from my mistakes)
thanks
Luke
