I've allways been a big fan of converting parts from other cars to fit my own, nothing like a walk round the local car breakers on a saturday afternoon looking for inspiration!.
Being able to weld, plastic weld, fill and spray to a professional standard also helps a lot.
Went through a phase of making cavalier mk3 16v SRi sideskirts fit everything i.e Rover 200,Nissan 200SX,Toyota MR2 and more...
Blended various different door handles into other manufacturers cars.
Fiat Brava rear lights into a Rover 200.
Made some Corsa bumpers up using the vents and fog lights out of Daewoo Matiz.
I've been toying with the idea of making an E30 BMW M3 wide arch semi replica using Frontera wings,E36 Bumpers and a V8 from a 540,I think on a budget of ?3k i could make something quite special, what do you think???:D

I think you'd get the V12 out of an E32 7 series cheaper than that nikasil bored V8 :thumb:lol

I've toyed with the idea of a Merc 190E, with the V8 from an old S class (W126) Both are cheap, the engine fits....

It looks gash though! As do scooby bonnet vents & Golf mk4 hedlamps! lol

Something I'd like to try is using either mk1 Saxo headlamps or mk4 Polo headlamps. Similar in shape to a mk2 Novas fr end but possibly better beam pattern etc. Pretty subtle but a possible way of taking the lighting output on a Nova into the 90's.

I want a daihatsu Sirion rear wiper arm aswell.

Tbh thats no use to me.

might aswell be Nova lights for how much is actually visible through that 'bad boy' bonnet eyebrow extension.

I would just want to modernise the std lines of the mk2 Nova fr end really.
