SR 3 spokes

just wondering what size tyres people have on these wheels as i got 5 from my local scrappy 4 ?60 off of a 1.2 sting, and they have 165/60 14's on them. the actual wheels r smaller than my standard steelies and the rolling radius looks smaller too. my standard wheels were 13x5.5 with 175/75's. r the alloys/ tyres from the sting smaller than off an sr/gsi etc?

All the Sr/GSi 3 spokes are the same size (14X5.5) Ive got 185 Yokohamas on mine, and was told by Ste, those are as big as you can go..

get 185/60 r14, thats the best i think

most are 5"x14" but early sr had 4.5"x14"

185/60 14" on the 5" and 175/65 14" on the 4.5"

16v Nova - Toolkit, Trouble, Points and great expence all come as standard :)

The GTE's had 175/65 HR 14's on these wheels (5J X 14 versions), and the later SR's had 165/65 TR 14's (optional extras on both models).
There's never been any larger than 5J width.
Older SR's (using the 4 1/2J x 14 wheels) were fitted with 165/65 SR 14's (see this pic to see how skinny these things are: http://www.novabug.co.uk/BroshureFrontCoverJoin.jpg !!!)

It could be worse though....it could have been fitted with the 13" three-spokes :O :
