fuel pump kicking in when turn ignition . i have got 4 wires at the coil that right ? a green yellow/ brown from car loon and a green /black from gsi loom
Do you have a ecu light working? As thats usually brown/blue.
Are you getting fuel into the engine(check spark plugs)
That sounds a strange bunch of wires to connect to an ignition coil, usually just a black or two, and a green. Or is it a DISpak?

well if you have the black/red wired up for fuel then thats what your problem is becausae the black/red is the starter solenoid wire, the fuel wire will be a red/blue to be connected to a red/blue. failing that have you got the fuel pipes on the rite way round?
