I had a big tat done on my left shoulder which is quite boney, i've a very
high pain threshold so it didn't really bother me, but from what i can remember it's the fleshy bits that're best, they don't bleed as much apparently lol

Ill get some pics of mine up tomorrow. got 6 now. Pain differs from person to person and bleeding depends on person again!! For me the Spine hurts most!

Dont drink any alcohol for at least 24hrs before cos it thins the blood and you bleed more!!

What cream are you using on it?

Elizabeth Arden 8 hour cream has been reccommended by a friend.

I see where youre coming from, needs to be re-done anyway as its a cover up so will all be sorted then!

I was highly reccomended savlon for first day or so then perfume free moisturiser. No vaseline or anything like that!

I started to used savlon on my wrist but its bad to use because it proper dries your skin out so I just you saline for that now.

Elizabeth arden has vit A & E in it which aids healing. Should try it! Good for scars too.

If you use enough savlon, it doesnt dry out!

ITs not too bad for a cover up, you can see some of the old tattoo in the edges, as i sadi it still needs finishing as it took a good few hours and it started to swell quite badly, plus my skins a real bitch at times and wont take the ink!!

Getting it redone FOC so no complaints!

For a cover up, it's not too bad! try Johnsons baby moisturiser, it doesn't dry skin, and it's bloody good!!!

Savlon is actually bad for a tattoo. It makes the scabbing go softer, which prevents it from healing properly. Was told by my tattooist that it also draws the ink out of your skin, therefore making it blotchy.

Best thing I've used is "tattoo goo". Works wonders, and alot quicker than anything else.

P.S. Tattoo's IMO don't hurt. Whether it's cuz this one was small or what ever. But they don't hurt. Sting, uncomfortable. But not major pain!
