i thought i would start a thread on cars people have sold and wished they hadent, heres mine i needed to sell it when i got married and got our house and i wish i never (sold the car that is not get married)lol my twin turbo toyota soarer (very rare manual) 392bhp what an a**e i am.

I tend to drive my cars until they die. However I was contemplating selling the 6 at one point. I think that would have been the first car that I would have regreted selling. I did miss my little modifyed Mini after I sold it. However I didn't regret it.

I regret selling all my novas, lol.. nah just the gsi then the tidy 1.2 star i had. The other novas i'de had where sold on to upgrade to a better one.

I don't regret selling any of my cars, although I do sometimes think I'd be better off if I kept my old Nova saloon - but then if I hadn't kept that I probably wouldn't have ended up with the GT4, and know by far which I'd rather have.

Lexus = Toyota, they badge their executive models up as Lexus'. If you want cheaper dealer servicing on a Lexus, take it to Mr T as you don't pay the "executive premium" then :D

funny you saying about a r5 turbo i had the yellow carisma one c3 gtt i miss that but i dont regret selling it, no matter how much money i threw at it, it still come back to screw me over a few pics:- its done the rounds now tho ive seen it on ebay about 3 times since i sold it and its back on there now minus the wheels

I miss my Vento like crazy. 2.0 GL with a 2.1 rebore , pack C TSR head and it had a cam with so much lift it almost pitted the cam cover lol. It used to rev to 8K, which is a massive amount for an 8v. It ate VR6's for breakfast! Its the only car ive ever managed to lower perfectly (as in the wheels followed the line of the arches perfectly front and back) and it had some gorgeous 17 inch deep dish BBS's on it. Loaded with electric everything, and never went wrong once. And i dont have a single photo of it, which is even more gutting!

I sold it for a beaten up Sierra XR4x4 because i needed some money and wanted to have some fun in a field. What an idiot!


Ive also started missing my blue nova, especially now that i cant finish the green one! My business partner attacked it with a digger yesterday, it now looks like this!

I wish I'd broken my Cav GSi Turbo when I bought my Vectra GSi rather than sell my Nova SR... I ended up breaking the Cav 9 months later anyway when I couldn't sell it whole. It needed a little bit of tidying on the arches which I'd been quoted ?250 for (including colour coding the mirrors and door handles) but was otherwise nigh on mint. I'd fitted a full Mk2 blue/grey SRi interior and had a set of Cav GSi rims waiting for tyres so I could fit them.
