changing looms retop

half way through changing my loom noticed that my new loom hasnt got the two conector blocks that go down to the idle control valve and what ever is down there but i have one big block with the same colour wires in there but there is an extra wire in there i think it was brown and white?any ideas what to do

The wires that go down to the idle speed control valve and the knock sensor has a seperate loom just for those two plugs which plugs into the main enigne loom with just one plug.

oh rite my old loom was a gte one which the plugs were part of the loom it self could i cut them off or shall i hunt about for the proper connectors will the ones off the eco tech be the same?? thx phil

Ecotech 2L loom is different

Maybe yeah.
But ecu light will be on, and it might not idle.

yes it will run, ive seen people run the plugs the wrong way round quite often with interesting results lol

got my connector blocks today which coulour plug goes to which ive got a brown and black one thx
