I am missing a large wire from my fuel pump relay and i don't know what it does and what colour it is.

The relay isn't clicking at all at the moment when i turn the key.

At a guess, an Ignition Live.

the relay doesnt click when you turn the key anyway. Only when cranked will the relay energise.

Do you have fuel pressure at the rail after the engine has been cranked?

Ok, with the missing wire, its probably not clicking when cranked. I have got pressure at the rail because when i disconnected the pipes to check for petrol, i got a face full.lol

dodgy relay, the relay controls the pump and the spark, try using another relay, when you crank it does the rev counter jump?

I was wondering about the relay but because i have a wire missing its probably not working properly anyway. No the rev counter doesn't jump when i crank.

you got any XE's lying about?

If so then look on that, as the relay's are the same.

The relay is working to run the pump then, just make sure you have an ignition live on the loom somewhere and to the coil.

no conter means you havent got a spark, check the crank sensor isnt damaged coz a similar problem like this gave me a headache with my sri lol
