Right what the hell is google mail?
why does it keep appearing on my pc?

How the feck do i get rid of it???? :mad:

Google mail is itself an on-line e-mail service. What's appearing that you need to get rid of?

probly a google toolbar been downloaded with sumthing like adobe or similar.

Either that or is sum spywear pretending to be google, as google isnt called 'google mail', its called 'Gmail'.

Then why do they refer to themselves as "Google Mail", newly registered accounts are @googlemail.com and their logo is

When the bloody window comes it it freezes my screen, can't immediatley close the google mail window, i haven't signed up for any other email accounts other than the hotmail ones i use!

The contents of the window i'm not able to view, it takes too long for the page to load and i can't actually do anything to it, any of this making sense??? cos it's driving me bonkers!!! :wall: :tard: :cuckoo: :mad:

for some reason in the uk gmail is already registered so they had to change it for the UK market... V ghey, but luckily i got in early and have a @gmail.com address :)

I bet your mum is so proud.... im sure every1 with googlemail.co.uk is devistated in the knowledge you 'got in early enough'

infact.. does any1 know how to tie a noose... i dont think i can take it.

Reformat??? does that involve picking the tower up and launching it out of the window??? lol
I've checked the google site out and cannot find anything to help me, so i've emailed them and got the bog standard automated reply!!!

Describe what's popping up a bit better and perhaps someone can help you. A web browser with the login screens/an application/what?

But throwing the computer out of the window is an option.

ID do the follwing

check in add/remove programs for anything mentioning it.

Remove anything that doesnt seem to be there

download adaware (by lavasoft) and run it. its freebee anti spyware and pretty good.

It still comes up then bring up ur task manager and check the procceses that are running to see if there something in there refering to it.

then do a search for things on some sites like expertsexchange... (PMSL)

YAY! i can't view everything on the screen as it freezes, but it looks like some message that someone's sent isn't sending, but it's not my account???

it's driving me bonkers lol it's appearing again so i'll try and see what it is lol

when it happens hit ctrl + print screen... then when tis back alive, open paint and paste into the blank image... then put that on here for the geeks to sort

It's on your keyboard, normally near Home/End etc.

Ok most people have PrtScn AKA Print Screen near the F12 button on there keyboard ...

Find it on your keyboard and next time the google thing happens press the PrtScn Button ...

Open paint and click the box on the left in your tools that is made up of dashes! Make a box on the Paint page and then inside the box do Copy & Paste...

Next go to File then down to Save As and save it...
Lastly:- Once saved into a Folder go to PhotoBucket.com (sign up or log in as usual) . Then browse for the picture you Print Screened and saved and Upload it onto PhotoBucket...

Then Obviously put th picture up in here.
