Ive just recieved a full set of powerflex bushes for the nova, I have recieved Front anti roll bar bushes which I didnt want and is getting replaced for the rear set which I ordered, and I also recieved Front wishbone inner bushes and Front Tie bar to chasis bushes.

When buying as the full kit I thought I was going to get every bush on the car, but looking on the powerfle site I have all the bushes they provide, so where do you get th steering rack and other suspension bushes and rear ARB bushes from??

Anyone else got a full set of powerflex and what did you get??

Any help on this appreciated.

Ian

yellows for road use, reds for track... unless you like it rough on our lovely roads.

ps rack bushes arent really needed since the pannel it mounts to flexes too lol

red = "race"

surely a touch of common sense would have led you from "race" to track.... or am i hoping too much from the forum users these days lol

seeing as the engine bay falls apart with anything bigger than a lawnmower engine i would say solid bushes on their own is a BAD thing, you would have to re-enforce the arms and the mounting points to the shell.

also i hope this isnt for road use cause if it is i hope you have good back and dental coveragelol

brass?!?!?!?! WTF, think about it and try again.

Ally is "ok" but still if the pannel it mounts too is flexible then they wont be of much benefit, plus if you take a knock to the suspension (kerb etc) then you are highly likely to naff the rack mounts etc.

lol is for my 16v only ever drive it on track or rarely on the road lol.

got poly bushes on tie bar and tca. hope to be getting a new suspension set up soon-ish and was thinking about a few places where solid bushes would be cheap and effective ie strut tops, steering rack. along with some other mods to steering. on car adjustable rose joints i hope

Is there any point getting some spring beds then ? My car has got polyrace (RED) bushes, but it is a road car, so will the spring bed just make the ride to hash for the little improvement it gives on the track !?!

Stuart

the spring bed jsut makes the interaction of the chassis -> spring a but more sensible... new std ones would be fine imho.
