hi all,i was wanting to know why my car sits so high?

its on bilstein shocks and 60mm springs, but there is still about 3 ich between the back wheel and the arch, its on 195/45/15s

there is currently no interior in the back but i have been told it will make hardly no difference.

cheers

whoever told you that was wrong im afraid. If it made no difference, we wouldnt bother stripping it all out would we lol

Mine did the same on 60mm springs, your options are either contact coilsprings.co.uk and get a set of 80mm springs made up, or buy some rear coilovers or a set of adjustable ride height rear springs.

Or put a breeze block in the spare wheel recess.

Is it a 3door??

As 5doors look stupidly high anyway due to the curved arch.

But i think that either way itl be because youve no interior in it.....

its a 3 door mate, thats great then, ill trust you lads and leave it as it is ad get hold of some seats to put in the back then see how it looks.

Putyting some seats in will barely make a difference. Depending on what make of springs you have, they may not lower it by much at the rear. The 1st lowering springs I bought did not drop the rear at all.

Just swap the rear springs for some pukka -60mm jobs.

also dont buy second hand springs ive got 60mm on the front and well there like 40mm at a push,
