Is it possible to change the pistons in non adjustable shocks to make them dampen harder?

youd be wanting to change the fluid for a more viscous fluid. cant see a diff size piston would affect the damping too much.
eitherway its not gonna happen

Yes, but I should think the effort in doing so would make it easier and cheaper to buy uprated ones. Uprated std shocks (not much more pricey than stds) have a spring inside to give extra resistance to compression and therefore give harder ride.

Do you have a specific handling problem then M8? Too harder setup on the front = understeer. You've got a roll bar haven't you? It should handle pretty well??
