When getting my tyres fitted and balanced on my modest 14" LXI alloys,I noticed that the tyre fitters had loads of set of 15" rover gti alloys-very similar to cav GSi alloys,4 stud also, but slightly curvaceous(spelling?) along the lines on allessio style, the way they bend in at the end of each spoke into the dish, anyways enough of that,I was going through my old comps memory(well, old comp with monitor etc wired to it to find some files for a laydeefriend) and came across a piccie of a nova sport wearing these alloys and looking very nice with them on!-does anyone know if the 4 stud fitment is the same on rover as it is on vauxhall?-the offset cannot pose that much of a threat can it?-if so,what offset can I get away with some light arch work,I dont mind getting them rolled, but I dont want to be hammering the inner arch or machining,Im also after at least a 40mm drop on the same alloys(wearing 45 profiles)please help,as I think I may have found some cheap and underused 15"s!

I want some 15"s!

It's a "little" list I've compiled to show which wheels from other manufacturers are suitable or not, for the Nova.

The important bit is the 4x100 which indicated a PCD of 100mm (pitch circle diameter of the bold holes), and if the off set is between 45 and 50, that's fine for the Nova in most cases. Nearer to 49 the better though, as any less (like 45) will make the wheel sit further out, requiring more outer-arch work.

As you'll see above, the steel ones from the Rover 200/400 are ET 45, so are fine for the Nova.
The ones you mention which come from the GSi aren't listed above though, but I'm sure they are ET45 too.
I've seen a few Novas with the Rover wheels you talk about, and they look smart...like you say, a lot like the Cav GSi design.

Hope that helps ;)

also watch out for the center hole it needs to fit snugly on the hub u can't just use the bolts to center it

my polo wheels will fit on my nova
but nova wheels win't fir on the polo

cause the hole in the polo wheels is bigger = not safe!!

16v Nova - Toolkit, Trouble, Points and great expence all come as standard :)

e reg shell almost gone!!

I know of sum1 who has fitted the rover 216GTi alloys b4, the centre hole(where hub goes) had to be machined out, as the existing hole was 2 small.

Bar the, they went on a treat, and looked damn sexy too!

Any ideas on what offset shitroen saxo VTs alloys are(the mini porshe cup 5 spokes). I think they wud look ok on my car, wen its finished.

Have fun!
