just wanting feedback really has any 1 got one and are they good cheers dan:thumb: :thumb:
depends where you go.
Powerflow is just a franchise, some are good, some are bad.
I personally have never seen a well made powerflow exhaust system, however my standards are quite high as I like the exhaust system to help produce 'real' horsepower as opposed to 'pub top trumps' hp, "my car is faster coz it az a 4" tailpipe innit", hence the reason I have a JP system on mine.

Its difficult to get an accurate idea as each dealer is a francise and workmanship varies.
My bro has one that custom made for is Scirocco and its a nice fit, looks and sounds good. My dad also got them to make up a custom part for his elise, that also looks good and fits perfectly (considering the elise has an exit that has to be spot on to sit in the hole thats only slightly bigger than the pipe and isnt just 'slung' under the bumper like most cars)
I have also heard that the quality of metal isnt great, even to the point that the stainless steel they use actually rusts! lol
Yes, I know of two people who had exhausts fitted at the same dealer (who will remain unamed). Both rusted after less than 7months.
One was fitted on a Fiesta ZetecS which I fitted a lowering kit to 5 months after, the exhaust was that badly fitted/contructed/bent that it had burnt through one of his ABS sensors. The dealer when questioned blamed the fault on the car being lowered, which is bolloks as the wire didnt move with relation to the exhaust at the area it was burned.
EDIT: Doh! I cant quote very well today

Ive had mine since 2000. Got it from the Powerflow UK head office in Exeter. No rust & up until I stripped the car last summer, it hadnt even moved on its mounts.

I'm very happy with it. I have seen some dreadfull workmanship on Powerflow exhausts though & they are deserved of the iffy reputation IMO.
A lad on MIG looked at the system on the Celica GT4 he had recently bought, the bend over the rear axle/shafts looked like it had been bent over the knee of the fitter. The internal dia of the tubing had literally folded down flat & must have decreased the size of tube by over 50% at that point. Disgusting!

My brothers has lasted years also, his was fitted down in soutampton, my dads in basingstoke but is only about a year old so hard to tell how its wearing.
I have an old nova one that i cut up to make a custom XE one up, the pipes were very tarnished and the welds were showing signs of corrision, i have no idea how old it was tho.
IMO. unless you want a bespoke design, go for a magnex if you can find one.

We get cars in at work all the time with Powerflow systems and i ahev to say that i was shocked at the condition of teh welds etc etc sometimes.
Very 'snottery' and alot of them are rusted to hell.
Plus they use a stainless silencer with mild steel piping in between ??? Stupid!
Saying that, ive had a few backboxes and they seem in good condition.
Must depend on where you get it done....
As per all the other comments, the quality varies from dealer to dealer. I've had my Powerflow backbox done about 3 years ago and its still 100% now, no rust anywhere..
