Nova 2.0l Driveshafts

Nova 2.0l driveshafts for sale they are 28 spline outers so you can use gte gsi outer cv joints and they are 25 inner splines cav cv inner joints.
I want ?50 for them and can post anywhere in the uk postage will be about ?15-?20 i will find out or i will swap for something what have you got?

if the inner splines are 25 then they wont take a cav cv they gotta be 22 spline inner

The shafts are 25 spline and had cav inners on so i was told, ive asked loads of people what 25 spline cv's are but no juy do you know?

go to a motor factors, they'll have the splines listed in thier little book, and will tell you exactly what vauxhalls have 25 splines ;)

I think they may be some confusion rgw SHAFTS a 25 spline inner and a 28 spline outer.
As with the outer cv the spline on the shaft that connects to the cv is a 28 spline, but the spline on the cv joint that goes into the hub are 22 spline.

Its the splines on the shaft thats important, not on the cv.

So if a c20xe cv is 25 spline where the shaft fits and is 22 spline where it fits into the hub then that is mint thats all i want to find out?

The splines on the gearbox end of the shaft itself must be 22.
With no cv's fitted. Ignore the splines on the cv's themselves.

They aren't suitable for a nova 2L conversion then.
They MUST be 22 on the inner end.

It doesnt matter how many splines are on the inner joint, it is how many splines are on the shaft itself where it goes into the inner joint.

The shaft where it goes into the inner joint has 25 solines on it THE SHAFT, it doesnt take the 1.6 22 spline cv's they are nova shafts with gte outers 28 spline but nobody knows what 25 spline are a standard nova gte shaft has 22 spline takeing a cav mk2 cv thus fitting a 2.0l gearbox these are 25 spline so wount take the mk2 cav cv if not then what fits?

I suggest you find out before trying to sell them as big block shafts. Wouldn't be very nice if you sold them to someone who is inexperienced with the conversion.

why is everyone so convinced that the inner is suposed to be 22 spline?? nova shafts have 22 spline inners which will accept a certain cavalier cv joint. however these are custom shafts and are more than likely made to fit all the other sort of cavalier cv's. my shafts that i have have been made to fit cavalier cv joints on the inner and not the 22 spline ones. ill count mine tonight to prove that everyone banging on about 22 spline bollocks are wrong
