i dont want it on show :p
but please remember im running over 20psi and gets very hot :thumb:
area 1 (to much on show i think) lol

EDIT what sort of power have people had out of these engines?
Recess the bumper and cover the IC with mesh and paint it black.

the first one, the other two defeat the object of fitting the bigger cooler in the first place.

hmmm then it has the same surface area as the first one? To be honest the intercooler sits lower on the first pic an because of that id stay with that as it means its covering all of your rad.
As Phil says, the whole point to fitting a bigger intercooler is for it get as much air thru it as poss !!
Fit it as the first pic, Paint it black and / or cover it in black mesh if your not wanting it to stand out.

if you want no one to see it paint it black as said, i did that an from a distance you couldnt tell it was there.

Position 1 but recess the front panel aswell to get it sitting further back.

i went for postion 3
due to it was allready there, and theres its got good air flow, theres only about 1cm depth hidden by the bumper

a mate had a 1.7 cav td engine in his nova, loads of boost and wound up the fuel, was 136bhp n a 175lb tourque, went well.
