yesterday i picked the new tyres up and painted 2 of my wheels to suit the bumpers and grill,
started prep work;

couple of tins of paint;

masked up with some colour on;

all done in clear coat ready for buffing and tyres to be fitted.:cool:

I once had a set of 2000's and painted them just the same, ive got 17's but thinking of getting somemore of them and painting them looks very nice mate.

Painting them looks good. Why don't you powder them? Makes the wheel more resistend against "nature".
Cost is probably a big factor.

Prob because its just alot easyer to spray its not as if there mega ace wheels prob end up changeing them for something else so it would be a waste of money maybe!

Same old thing powder coating cost money,im a painter so painting them cost very little,plus not sure my bumpers and wheels will be staying the same colour in the near future

I do all my work myself as i am lucky enough to be a mechanic saves me alot of money plus i think you take more pride in your motor if its built up by you dont you think!

er well to be honest i take pride in other peoples just as much as mine.other wise id never have work!!i see it like this if its going to be done it gets done right no cutting corners etc etc.

they were polished when i got them but not very good i painted the wheels up to match the bumpers and repolished the edge
