i diddn`t realise just how much the dash was similar to the mk1 Nova dash.

ROT BOX, steer well clear. Water collects under the sound deadning on the bulkhead, then rots through to the footwell. Best to reshell it into a model without the sound deadning on the bulkhead.

or you could just remove the sound deadening ;)

As much as I love MK1 astras, (I owned 3), I still don't like the irmscher kit. I liked the original gte look, but they never had a decent rear spoiler. They were also that rare beast:- a std production front wheel drive car that you could easily oversteer at will for fun.
