help! gsi wiring diagram

just wired in e16 gsi into 14 sri been told it is wired right will not fire gettin spark any ideas

Without any more info it sounds like the starter solenoid isn't on a cranking live to me.

Try a multimeter on it when at all three ignition key positions.

it did start once would not idel or rev up do u think the ecu could be gone:roll:

Is it flashing a fault status? Is the status lamp wired?

if u mean the engine managment light its not wired the guys that are wiring it says its not needed

Well without it you won't be able to see f the ECU is registering a fault or be able to read the fault codes off without a dedicated fault code reader.

ive never wired a car before what i do know is the engine managment rev counter and the temp gauge is not wired in they say is dosent need 2 be 2 get it started what u think

You don't need them connected to start it but it can prove handy for fault diagnosing.

I'd still say to test the feeds to the solenoid first.

problem solved wired the green from the plug too the coil and taco away she weny:D :thumb:
