Chris, I want to Seeb in Oman, to the navy base there, and also briefly aboard RFA Fort Austin in Muscat Port.

I havn't done Oman, however people who I have spoke to say its good.

Yeah, it was pretty good. There's not a great deal to do but a couple of the hotels have good bars, full of navy blokes lol. The locals are all pretty friendly too and most speak decent English, although I'd leave any driving to local taxi drivers as they're all mentalists on the road!

Wasn't too hot either as it doesn't get roasting until about July time, and everywhere has decent air con too. Hopefully I will be going back out for a few days in a couple of weeks time, as part of the work we were trying to do went balls up, so we'll have to revisit and try again.

No, the software is so full of bugs you could make an animated movie about it, and management didn't give us the materials (software, laptops, network infrastructure) until literally 12 hours before we were due to depart :roll:
