are these worth fitting when gettin a car lowered to avoid uneven tyre wear. when fitted do they need regular adjustment or do they just need to be set up when they are fitted.

nope your better off saving your money and modding the top mounts with a file and sum washers.

ste could you go into more detail about what you said it went straight over my head, what you said sounds better than file the top mount and some washers. (no offence)

You're better having some camber though for handling.....just a little will improve things, without knackering the tyres.

i said almost 0 camber

what i did was redrill the 2 top mount mounting holes out by 7mm

its easy done

i did my white nova 9mm becuase it was lowerd quite a bit but this cuases probs with the top ov the shocks not sitting in the turret corectly (meaning it raised the cars body 5/10mm.

do 7mm as ste says

basicaly u take out your front shocks

the 2 top holes holding them into the turrets need either redrilled or filed so the tops ov the shocks stick outwards by 7mm

then use big washers and u can spot them onto the turret tops so that your new holes do not move about.

after this mod your tracking will need reset

7mm is as far as u can go
i u don't need to take the shock out just jack the car with them undone and it will fall out of the way
no need to weld washers jus make the holes a tight fit and use locking washers

so basically there will be 4 holes in the top of the turret. is this a safe mod to do.

is it worth buying the strengthening plates to fit on the top of the turret

lol i did 9mm

i prove you wrong

but like i said the shock tops needed a little modding.

i didnt weld mine but i did fit a strut brace
