Anyone used/know about this? Ignition pulse noise is recorded, on a camcorder or similar, from a plug lead during a run down the road in 2nd gear revving up from idle to the redline. This is then downloaded onto a PC and the software then works out a full dyno power curve. The only other variables to be entered are wheel and tyre sizes, gear and FD ratios and atmospheric pressure.

Yeah. I have heard of this before and a mate was going to buy the software.

Have not seen it in action, but I would suspect that it will give a 'ball park' figure.
