A friend of a friend is braking an astra gsi 1.8 16v and i was wondering if the brakes on this were the same as the ATE ones on the 2.0 16v gsi. cos i want to put them on my nova if there any good.

shud b the same, only difference might b that there 20mm not 24mm thickness discs, but just as good at stopping :)

cheers lads i may be getting them tomorrow then. i think the bloke wants about ?100 for them cos he said they've got new tarox disks with them. Is this a good price or not

they will be the 24mm discs as the 1.8 sport had them as standard so the gsi def. will

if they have new tarox discs yea cuz they will be worth ?120 new!!

think u can get a standard 16v setup for about ?40-?50 these days!!
