Jetting?

Was gonna eventually put a 1300 head and inlet on my 1400 and was gonna use a weber, what would i need it jetted to? 1400 or 1300? Not really sure how it all works.

Theres never a "perfect" sheet which you can jet your carb to.
Its all down to how it drives. Which is why a RR setup is so important.

You can have two very similar engines, but one uses completely different jets than the other.

Yeah okies, but do u not get different jets? and wont a RR setup just tweak fueling? etc dpn't relaly know how it works!

RR should change the jets if need be, depends where you go as to whether you have to supply the jets to them, or they keep a supply.

Try to get a carb that is set up for a 1.4, although with the quality of weber jets of late, they'll probably need changing anyway. Best advice I can give is get it in for a RR tune-up as soon as you can, as thats the only way to get the jetting right for an individual engine.
