Hi guys my GTE is soon coming back from the garage after a respray, but im not quite sure in 2 minds where to put the front number plate. well whether to put it in its original place or at the bottom. My previous nova had it at the bottom as pic shows, guess it did make it look aggresive (but then it still looks modded) is the original spot the best on a MK1?.
im getting the original mercedes styles plate i.e. the GB badge with the black border after. What you recon?
P.S i will eventually be lowering as the pic shows

i want it looking original as possible.
Put it on the standard place then lol

the one above looks smart so id do it like that. plus it doesnt cover up the hole that ties in with the grille and itl probally let that tiny bit more air in like that^
on my gte i had it on the bottom left hand corner but a bit lower(broke 2 plates on speed bumps and it always craped so got annoying)
it looks good enough in the pic. and adds i little bit of a diffrence then other cars keep it there

I was gonna say it will look shoite anywhere but std, but in that top pic its subtle but different. I like.
So long as it isnt a square plate mounted off centre you cant go wrong.

Taa Lobbyboy for the art work much appreciated, im really liking the GB plate in its original spot, may definatley consider that. The messed up thing is though with the MK1 bumper the v shape, can never get a number plate to properly sit around it as your almost having to bend it around. .:thumb:
But yeah no not too knee on the idea of a square plate, but each to their own. Think i'll go for the original look taa everyone:thumb:
on the dash lol looks much better without one at all ;)
