hi im wondering how many diffrent grills are out thair for a mk1 pics would be great thanks

Standard:
> Poverty spec (one-piece grille and slats)
> SR (two-piece grille and slats with removable SR badge)
> GTE (same as SR, but with GTE badge and painted iirc)
> Foglight (poverty spec but with added square foglights)
> Combined (early pre-facelift Mk1 where the grille is one-piece with the bumper)
> Pre-facelift Saloon (square slats as fitted to Pre-facelift Mk1 saloons)

Modded/Other:
> Irmscher twin headlight grille (I have a feeling there's two types of this, one with the 'i' moulding and one without...)
> Quad Conversions
> Abyss

...there's probably others as well lol

very early mk1s had the all in one bumper grill combo.

later ones had seperate grills to the bumper

scary thing is its not far from the design from the nice looking irmsher styles ones they have on modern vauxs

Anyone got a pic of the mk1 saloon (cross hatch) grille with the badge removed?

Its moulded in afaik. You'd need to cut n shut two grilles together to remove it....

Novadose, thats the one I was thinking of, not Abyss. Duh!
