first thing you would need to do is swap out the "new thread" button for the "search" button
of course that being said t40 is too short to search for, if you search for carb you can sift through and find the info though

also long live the nova did a conversion not too long ago

take it you ordered the bottom bracket? you need to mod the top adjustable one! find another bracket from any size nova engine there all the same size chop em and weld them together to make it longer. then try and find a belt to fit can't remember sizes but people fit different sizes. some get away with the stnd belt just make sure it's not rubbing!

and do not forget the most important thing... a GOOD PROPER setup!
If your not going get them setup correctly dont bother fitting them, as you'll only blame the bad running etc on the carbs themselves.
Also factor in the cost of a complete choke/jet change if they aren't close to the sizes you need.

yeah it was the bottom bracket i ordered nd i got the adjuster with the 40s thanks for that ben
and they will be getting set up on saturday so its all good does any1 know how much of a power gain u get?
What engine on?
On a otherwise std engine dont expect to see a huge gain, it will sound quicker, but actual figures wont be that much more.
Maybe 10bhp if that.
Headwork and a good cam is where the gains are with 40s.

what kind of bar do i need to put it down to? 3?

2-3 PSI.
2-3 BAR will damage the carbs and likely cause a fire.
The carbs will be "ok" with the mechanical 14nv pump and no regulator.
Better with one tho.
