rear fog light switch

im doing a mk1 to m2 conversion and im having trouble wiring the rear fog lamp switch. I have brown, black/blue, grey/green wires coming from the loom, and on the plug i have numbered plugs, ie 1,2,3 and i think also 5, how is it wired up??????

If there are wires coming out of the plug (which there should be) then the colours should match up with the colours from the loom.

yes but they arent the same otherwise i wouldnt have asked! Ive looked on another nova and there was a yellow wire instead of the green/grey one so i substituted my one for this but it still didnt work

get a haynes manual...
the green/grey is illumination
the blue/grey is the feed out (from what i remember)
