Springs will be ok, but if you want to go lower than 40mm and want a decent ride then get some uprated dampers as well. >40mm springs and standard dampers are not advised, you may find the springs decide to part company with the car on fast cornering!

coilovers will give you that drop, but you will need a custom spring kit to lower that much normally
