more weber info needed plz!

A while ago I posted asking for info on webers,I now have a weber from an XR2-and I will be reconning it soon,the adaptor plate(or official mounting plate) for the XR2 was a hooj 12mm or so piece of ally, and looking at it,I could machine off the mounting points this block has(its alot wider than the actual weber mountings to the ally you see...)and probably sink the right size holes to slide it onto the twin inlet manifold off a later spec nova,hopefully peeps will know wher Im coming from at this point,wot I need to know is do you think the mounting plate will be ok?-and where do I get the carb rejetted,and where do I go for the throttle linkage for it,Im a spanner when it comes to technical bits you see!

I want some 15"s!

Depends where you are really, but try southern carburetters you should find their no. on yell.co.uk. They'll have the linkages etc.... They will post it to you too and their prices aren't really bad either. They are also very helpful if you need any tips!
