well after going for a drive, i could not even touch my bonnet it was that hot,

so a quick bodge later with 4 long bolts running thru 4 10mm sockets lol

Glue a heatsink the size of a breeze block to the turbo lol

a common misconception of raising the rear of your bonnet is that people thing air is being pulled from out of the engine bay.

air is actually forced into the engine bay, this can lower under bonnet temps but i can also cause engine operating temps to rise, the pressure differential between the front of the radiator and the engine bay is reduced, so little to no air travels through the radiator.

A better solution would be to make an under tray for the engine bay and put some NACA ducts on it to draw air out to the under side of the car, ceramic coat or heat wrap the header and run an oil cooler.

Of course none of those options are as cheap as some bolts and washers lol
