what is this hole?

looking at my 1300 head earlia and i found these holes on the inlet manifold side
looks like they are linked up to the water matrix.

its just to the left of the middle port in the picture.
should it be like that, or should there be a bung in there? :confused: :confused: :confused:

It wont leak, i thought that when i took mine off, a headbolt sits in there - seems abit pointless though.

Yeah, all heads have them.

tbh, never noticed that before, but have allways wondered why one of the bolts allways comes out rusty.

Ones that ive stripped before have had core plugs in them.

ah i see thought it might have been a water way :S didnt want a leek. makes sense now ;)
