it will just need the front suspension to be settled! I had the same problem, and couldnt think why it was higher after i lowered it.

Not being funny but did you drive it before taking the pics? Suspension needs to settle with a bit of a drive after being up in the air. Did you swap the rear springs first?

As for the wheels imagine you put a mark on a spoke closest to the bumper of the drivers side. If you removed it and put the wheel on the passenger side without rotating it, the red mark would now be closest to the passenger door. The fans would be rotated laterally 180 degrees.

yes and so would the ones on the other side? so either way.. burgo & dan wont like one side??

ANYWAY..

yes the back was done first, and was reversed off and on the drive to try and settle. then pic's were taken

Hi looks good did you fit the springs yourself? It will only need driveing around allitle bit to settle the front, are the springs new? As for the wheels there supposed to be that way thats the way there made all the same! Anyway good job keep it up.

nice looking car - when suspension settles will be nice.

I'm a tad confised though - why smooth your boot and then stick the number plate back in the same place?

Kind of defeats the purpose (takes away from the moothness of it).

Get yerself a number plate recess!

AFTER A COUPLE OF HUNDRED MILES YOU MIGHT EXPECT YOUR NEW SPRINGS TO SETTLE SLIGHTLY! about 6mm! not 30. what make? were there any stamps on them. oh and your dampers are goin to b getting a hard time. i would compare it to drivin around with a load of weight watchers in the car, less the strain on the engine that hauling 6 fat bastids around causes

GMAX. couldnt see stamps as they were used. why will it be strained? what should i do then..?

unless you got some uprated struts aswell then yhe standerd ones will wear down alot faster so it wont be too long before youre changing them...

nova_ellen

i got everything with them. they were still attached to struts

you got dampers and struts. maybe the PERSONwho sold them got a proper set up. im not being fair. when u just fit springs the dampers think you are constantly driving with a heavy load if u no what i mean ,they are under the same pressure they wud be if you har a load of fat people in a stadard car?

Ive put full kit on my nova that i took off my corsa diesel, I had 17's on my corsa and it was low just over the top of the tyre now ive put them on my nova with the same wheels it looks well high but ive not moved the car so it hasnt properly settled its not happened to me before ?

if the springs are off a corsa diesel they will be stronger to take the heavier weight of adiesel engine, if you put them on a nova with a petrol the weight of the engine will not squash tham as much, resulting in a higher ride height!!
