managed to sign in today but couldnt last night.
Is hideously ghey, and slows down your pc and really upsets Cubase.
I cant Log in, haven't been able to for about 2days.
I had probs yesterday afternoon, form about 12:30pm right up to 6pm when I started work. Worked fine this morning though.
Working now for some reason,Lol.

You'll have to leave the house and talk to people face to face.
...Or use something better and more reliable than MSN.

Mine did that alot on the old 7.5 Version of MSN but then i switched to Live Messenger and everthing has been hunky dorey!!! Whatever you do when talking to someone don't type /lock ... I did it and locked myself out of msn and had to re format my computer to get it to work properly!

Yes... It apparently locks you out of your MSN and you have to provide some password. I didn't realise this and after trying to access my MSN and failing many times, it eventually corrupted my hardrive as far as i know lol. So i opted to just Re-Format my comp.

Sounds like bollo*ks to me.
MSN does not have kernel level access, merely API.
Lol, i just typed /lock.
Nowt happens.

lol, i just tryed that /lock thing,
it does lock you out, well it shuts msn completely down and you have to restart your laptop/computer to get it working lol, how random
It won't do anything to your hard disk though.
lmfao @ reformatting after using /lock. I thought that command just puts it into boss mode, its still running but you just stick a password in to re-enable it? Thats all that happens whenever I've used /lock before anyway!

Whatever you set it to in the MSN Plus preferences....

Well ok, I kinda forgot to mention the fact that "After i locked my self out and couldn't get in, i opted on removing MSN from my comp, Then re-installing it. After re-installing it MSN wouldn't let me talk half the time, use cam/audio pictures etc... I then went away for the weekened. Came back the following monday to find that my computer would not work at all... I tried to repair Windows etc... and the comp wasn't having any of it. Then i came to the solution of "RE FORMATTING" which made me loose atleast 20gb of songs plus alot of family photo's blah blah blah!!!" And that is the full story. By now your propbly asleep.
Should have connected it as a slave drive on another PC and copied all your stuff off first :p
Moral of the story, keep your personal files in a separate disk partition to the system files, or have a spare HDD with an operating system on it to boot from if your original disk goes TU lol
Alternatate moral of the story, don't be a muppet and learn about things before fiddling with them.

I'd recommend an 80gb external usb hard drive for storing all your music on... well thats what I have.
That way I can plug it in my 360 and not worry about filling up the built in hard drive with crap.
