this is my birds car and ive been playing around with it,

i aint seen anyone else do this yet but if anyone has any pics id be interested to see them.

first of i made the templates out of cardboard then cut them out of metal.
made the reesess (sp) in the grill so it would sit flush.

both sides are done now and am still in the teedieus prosses of getting it flat.

what i want your opinions on is should i spray the whole thing gun metal grey of keep it white? im 80% going grey at the mo. bare in mind the wheels are grey and the bumpers and sides!!!

That's a cool idea, looks like those eyebrows you can buy but not cheap & tacky! I reckon keep it white though

sorry but eyebrows are the tackiest thing ever, bad bot bonnets are the proper thing but they both dont suit novas atall

I'd say keep it white, eyebrows are supposed to create the impression the bonnet comes down a bit, wouldn't look right in the grey colour.

the 1 on my SRi was a craper version of that but i might try that on mine because it looks pretty good.

The only thing I would have done differently would have been to make the corner that joins onto the grill the same depth as the top line of the grill itself - looks really good though!
