am new at this, a crashed ma car an want to take the xe out could some 1 tell me were all the mounts are and would it be easier to lower the engine out rather than lift??

it depends if you have an engine crane?

the mounts lookinh into the bay are at the front left and bolted to the gearbox that has mounts on the front right and at the back

thats not very nice is it?? you can start your english lessons by looking at a haynes, because i aint going to bother with you, and i doubt other people will bother;)

if it is crashed then a big tin opener (9" grinder) will do the trick.

Oh sod it, take the wheels off, lower it onto some wooden blocks & remove all of the mount bolts & pipes. then lift the body up & wheel it away.
Sorry, I had a serious moment.

unbolt the three engine mounts then stand back an watch as everything else attached to the engine breaks and folds
