LOL i know this will start some fun but in all seriousness.

Whats the minnimum spec people think that Solid lifters should be used on?

As far as I know you only need them when your revving the tits out of the engine because if you don't then the oil gets pumped out at high rev's and the adjustment is lost.

EDIT: Also if you have high lift cams it makes the problem worse.

the high lift isnt "such" an issue, its the ramp rates and duration that are the key justifyers for solids. And as said high revs (ie if your going to sit at 8K for 1/4 of a mile then you need solids...)

You cant really fit solids to a hydro spec cam though.
