I am wanting to have my nova xe'd in the summer and was wanting to know what people have paid for their converisons? the Griffin Centre by me want 1500 but seems abit steep to me??? what you rekon?

is this every thing? suspension, wheels, big breaks or the conversion labour costs and parts like driveshafts, hubs etc....

will you be putting it in yourself?

yes everything he does all the 16v converisons round here it aint no back street garage like he is well respected etc etc he does the 16v conversions in novas corsas astras and minis lol

mine cost me about 6-700 i think, can do it a little cheaper than that tho tbh

Can do it for about ?500 DIY.

most people with experience thats done the conversion a couple of times would do it for a lot cheaper then ?1500. you supply engine and conversion kit and your only looking at about ?350-?500.
there plenty of people im my area that would anyway.

if i rerember correctly jnc do it for the same price with the convo kit so its about right.

We charge ?1500 for the conversion, that includes driveshafts, competition engine mounts, welding / strengthening the engine bay and the spraying it back up the same colour, and all the labour to do the work including fitting brakes an suspension if they are supplied as well.

Griffin centre are ok, seen the owners old corsa gsi XE, my mate has it. and theres a few bodges that we've patched up. But other than a couple of things, very good work
