View Full Version : Finished the 2.0 16v

Well sort of finished it, I got it road legal last weekend so it was ready for Sundays Autosolo (for thos of you who dont know about them check here (http://www.fdmc.org.uk/autosolos.php) for some info)

Ive still got a huge (and forever growing) list of jobs to do, but the cars on the road which is all that counts at the moment. For those who have seen it the WIP thread is here (http://www.novaload.net/forum/showthread.php?t=74299)


I managed 6th overall (behind cars such as Caterham (who came 1st), an MR2 turbo and a (Clan Crusader, see it in the bottom picture), Due to the engine mods I ended up in the Kit car class, but I still came 2nd in class (only a few seconds behind the Clan)

Nice one mate, sounds like you did alright considering your up against cars which are probably lighter and designed as a sports car rather than a small run about!! Did you get a go in the Clan? I'm too tall to fit in one :(

Hey mate i saw you 4 days running last week. I was at college and saw you going down the a33 going away from chineham roundabout. Sounded nice! You might have seen me on the friday, was in a white gsi lookalike with white comp mos same as you.

Just thought id mention it lol.

Goodyin, well driven! and the suspension looked about spot on for the conditions!!.
Need to find out where they run this sort of event in the Midlands,.
Draper, think we should do a car for this?

It rings a bell, i recal seeing one in my mirror or on a roundabout, think it was near asda?
