got a new bonnet of pillar yesterday and its got the peugeot 206 vent on it just above the air filter and air flow meter thingy, but at the moment i aint got the vent for it so there is 2 holes where it should be and im a little worried about if it rains. will it fcuk the car if water gets onto the air filter and air flow meter? at the minute i have to cover it up when i park up

even tho the maf sensor has the electrics obviously insulated i would still cover the hole, u dont want a damp filter especially if its foam like pipercross etc as they let moisture soak through, also lettin rain water in the engine bay will aid corrosion.

I removed the bonnet cladding from my car last summer and have never had a problem with rain the engine bay area. And my vent is considerably larger than a 206 vent lol

My filter isn't directly under the vent though, but the turbo is.

The pug "vents" act as small scoops though, not vents, hence nothing being directly under them

Ohhh pic whore time, this is my vent, hello turbo :D
