Heater motor

My heater seems to have packed up whilst driving home from Blackpool on Friday. A 5 hour drive in the cold is not nice!! Stayed 4 nights and left the car in the hotel car park when starting the car the heater worked fine but after about 2 minutes it stopped producing heat and chucked out cold. It has not worked since. How easy are they to replace? Is there any thing else I should check before replacing the heater motor?

hhmm, well it its puttin out air, but cold, it will be the heater matrix, not the fan itself. Is your water level ok? when i had a leaking pipe on my GTe engine, when it got to a low level the heating went off. And shortly after the engine temp needle would drop,. but the engine would get really hot.
