2k paint?

i have just bought black 2k paint for my nova and i am wondering if you need the proper air fed masks or whatever they are?
Is 2k paint really harmless and cause lung cancer?

the paint is not harmfull,however its the hardener that contains all the nasty stuff.you need an air fed mask or at least a respirator.these are exspensive.very.ive got 2,haha

Use 2k base coat and 1k clear, just use a good mask and your be fine.

2k base coat?you mean solvent?and 1k clear,not sure about that.

you can hire a fresh air respirator from HSS for about ?40 for a week (the safe n sure section). they are battery powered and come with special mod filters.
