changing my gearbox oil at the mo and cant see where you drain it and fill it up from
any help would be great thanks beno

there should be a drain bung somewhere i think but im sure you have to fill them through the speedo hole
Fill it through the breather thats on top of the box and the level plug is near where the long shaft goes in to the box. Thats on an F20. Im sure the F16 was the same as well. Not sure about the other boxes. But its somewhere to start looking.

you have to take the plate of the bottom, there is no drain plug, have a gasket ready and beware of the mess, to fill it the plug is on top of the gear selector, a 17MM nut i think
The level plug is on the passenger side, near the short shaft(opposite side to big block boxes)
Fill the box with oil till it starts to come out of the hole.
As already said, fill it up through the breather hole in the top(remove the breather bolt)

ok lads ill have a peak tomorrow, i saw the breather one i thinklol but was unsure on where to drain it from, will 2litres of fluid be enough?
Yeah.
They take about 1.8/9L from empty iirc.
