1.4 sr engine

just bought a 1.4 nova sr j reg mk2, going to put the engine into my 1.2 mk1 g reg, is there anything that needs changing, everything looks the same except the exhaust., cheers :thumb:

The coil I think.

iginition module, straight forward, you cut the wires that go to the module and crimp them onto the 1.2 loom, also the 1.2 throttle cable

starting it this week, need it done before easter for santa pod, going to get the engine out the sr and all ready so i can get it thrown in as quick as possible!

Is it a manual choke on the SR?

My G reg was automatic choke so that might be slightly different when fitting the SR engine.

no the sr is automatic chake, my engine now is a manual, will it make any difference?

no, but keep the manual choke on it, take the manual choke part of the 1.2 and put it in place of the 1.4 autochoke
