iirc you dont have to change the loom, its just a matter of unplug the sri one then plug in the gsi one. not sure about the dizzy and coil though
You will have to change the loom.
yes the sri is a full loom the engine part does not remove like it does on dizzy gte/gsi engine's
the c16se is also the same style where you can not unplug the engine , so as ad said your goin to have to swap the looms
its the gsi engine that looks exactly like an sri with the map sensor and no airflow? u sure ill have to change loom? the dizzy bit seems the only difference?
The dizzy bit is the only difference.
Which is why you need change/mod the loom.
You HAVE to run DISpak on c16se, as no c16se's came with dizzy, so the ecu's cant run a dizzy.
ya but will the ecu plug in? then i cud just run the dispak wires thru the rear pisser hole( dont have a pisser anyway!) then connect them into the loom beside the ecu plug?
Not sure if it will plug in, i'd say yes as the management is very similar.
You might have to have a look at the looms to make sure, and make sure theres no extra wires on the c16.
